Milwaukee — The Utility Expo, North America’s largest trade show for utility professionals and construction contractors, will host a dynamic two-day workshop designed to empower and elevate women in the utilities industry. The ADVANCE Program for Women in Utilities Workshop will take place during the first two days of The Utility Expo, offering women actionable strategies to accelerate their careers.
Held October 7–9, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, The Utility Expo continues to set the standard for industry engagement by offering hands-on learning experiences that connect professionals with the tools and insights they need to grow.
Registration for The Advance Program for Women in Utilities Workshop is required for each day, and daily attendance is limited to 250 participants. Each workshop day is priced at $149 and features two focused sessions designed to address the distinct challenges and advancement opportunities for women in the utilities sector.

Following that, “Invest in Yourself to ADVANCE Your Career” (11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.), emphasizes personal development as the cornerstone of career growth. Participants will explore how to identify their strengths, pursue mentorship, and create a roadmap for long-term success.
Day Two: Wednesday, October 8
The second day begins with “When You Are the Only _____ In the Room” (10:00–11:15 a.m.), a session that reframes personal characteristics as professional assets. Attendees will gain tools to navigate bias, build confidence, and foster inclusive environments.
The final session, “Negotiation Tools You Need to ADVANCE Your Career” (11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.), provides essential techniques for negotiating salary, project roles, and resources. Participants will leave equipped to advocate for themselves with clarity and confidence.
