Everything from hotel information to show hours. Search General What are your plans for COVID-19 health and safety protocols? Updated June 17, 2021 Your health and safety is our top priority. The Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) has announced new COVID-19 guidelines, and here is what you can expect at the show: Masks are not required for vaccinated show participants. Social distancing requirements have been removed. The KEC is a Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR Certified facility and will continue to uphold those high standards for facility cleanliness, extra cleaning protocols for high-traffic areas and frequently touched surfaces, and proper ventilation. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the show. The aisles in indoor space will be wider than in previous years. To reduce crowding around registration areas, we encourage attendees to pick up their name badges early and/or take advantage of remote badge pickup at the airport and outdoor locations at the show. The Utility Expo is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all, including our safety policies related to equipment demonstrations. We will continue to follow the guidelines of the CDC, the State of Kentucky and KEC to ensure a safe experience for all show participants, and we are prepared to implement new guidelines and protocols as required at the time of the show. Do I need to own a business or be invited by a company to attend? No, anyone can register for a badge to attend. We do ask for your company when you register, because your badge is similar to a business card. When you are interested in receiving more information, an exhibitor will scan your badge to contact you in the future. The more accurate the information you provide, the better your experience when they follow-up. Are there any age restrictions? There are not, however anyone 18 or younger will need to register for a child badge to gain access to the tradeshow floor. These badges are complimentary. Will parking be available at the show and how much does it cost? Yes! There are over 19,000 parking spaces at the Kentucky Exposition Center for a reasonable daily fee of $10. Attendees will be directed to park in designated lots. What are the future show dates? The Utility Expo is held at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) every two years. The 2023 show is scheduled for September 26 – 28 at the KEC in Louisville, KY. Who should I contact if I have any other questions? Please contact The Utility Expo customer service team. Will there be a shuttle that runs from the hotels to the show? Complimentary shuttle service is available between the Kentucky Exposition Center and select official The Utility Expo hotels. Is there a fee to attend the Bourbon, Beer & Bites Networking Reception Thursday, Sept 30 at 2:00 p.m.? No. The Bourbon, Beer & Bites networking reception is free to all attendees and exhibitors. View Events Registration/badges How much is a badge? The badge price is $79 and several discounts will be offered throughout registration. I need a receipt for my badge and education purchase. How do I get one? Upon completion of registration, you were directed to the registration resource center. All you have to do is login and you can print off a receipt for your purchases. Registration is now open Tickets for The Utility Expo 2021 are now available. Standard price to attend is $79. The earlier you register, the more you save. Register Now What does the registration for The Utility Expo include? Your show badge grants you access to all areas of the tradeshow floor including The Jobsite, presented by Planet Underground. You can purchase educational sessions for an additional cost. What is the refund and cancellation policy? Show Badge/Entrance to exhibits is non-refundable. Name substitutions are allowed through September 17, 2021. Lost or misplaced badges will be charged the original amount paid. Education cancellation requests received in writing and postmarked on or before August 13, 2021 will be charged the below processing fees. No education/event refunds will be granted after August 13, 2021. Education is non-transferable. Education cancellation processing fee: $20/Session Where can I pick up my badge? You can pick up your show badge at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport or when you arrive at the show. How can I update or change my registration information? Upon completion of your registration, you gain access to the registration resource center (RRC). All you have to do is log in to the RRC and you can modify your registration or add education. Hotel & Travel I want to book my room now, how can I do that? Hotel rooms are now available! Visit our Hotel & Travel Information page. Can I earn hotel loyalty/rewards points if I book a room through the show block? Yes! We want to make sure you are earning all of your reward points. When making your reservation, you have the ability to provide a hotel loyalty/reward number when entering your contact information, just as you would if you were making a reservation on a hotel site. Typically, accounts reflect points a few weeks after you have departed. Are there airline discounts available? Yes! We have secured discounts with the major airlines that fly into Louisville. Field Classrooms are $129 each and on-demand education is $79 for all sessions. Visit our Education page for more information. Can I register for education onsite? Yes, you can add education to your badge when you get to the show Can I earn professional development hours (PDH)? Yes. After attending a field classroom, you can request PDH confirmation by completing the session evaluation. You will receive the confirmation within 10 days of the show. How do I purchase education? You can request a visa invitation letter during the registration process once it opens in May 2021. For additional information, visit our International Visitors page. Merchandise Store How do I order branded show merchandise? Orders can be placed online at https://theutilityexpostore.com/. Check back often! We add new merchandise regularly. What is the shipping fee on product orders? There is free shipping on all U.S. orders. Product orders shipping to Canada is a $15 flat rate and other international countries a $25 flat rate. When can I expect my product to ship? Lead time on orders will be 3-5 days and most are shipped via U.S. mail. Some multiple piece orders may come in separate packages.
