Utility Construction Exhibition Also Honored for Fast Growth
ICUEE – The Demo Expo has earned kudos from the exhibitions industry, taking the number-5 spot in the Top Trade Show list annually compiled by the Trade Show News Network (TSNN). TSNN is the online information resource for the exhibitions and events industry and ranks the top trade shows in the United States by exhibit space size.
ICUEE also won a fast-growth award from Trade Show Executive magazine (TSE): “Next 50” kudos for its growth in number of exhibiting companies, gaining impressively at a steady pace. TSE presents the awards to exhibitions that demonstrate the greatest percentage of growth show to show.
AEM’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG exhibition took TSNN’s number-one trade show spot and also received TSE fast-growth honors for exhibit size and number of exhibitors.
Commitment to delivering a top-quality show experience and superior customer service were key to earning the awards, says the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
"These awards recognize our commitment to creating real value for exhibitors and attendees – we are continually striving to help participants achieve and exceed their show goals,” said Dana Wuesthoff, AEM vice president for exhibitions and events services.
AEM shows are industry-run in which participants have a voice in show planning, industry partnerships enhance value, the Association carefully monitors costs and revenues go back into industry services.
Both ICUEE and CONEXPO-CON/AGG featured industry give-back auctions among their special events and related networking opportunities. All proceeds went to the nonprofit Call of Duty™ Endowment, dedicated to helping connect military veterans with quality jobs.

The next ICUEE-The Demo Expo will be held October 1-3, 2019 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
The biennial show, also known as the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition, focuses on utility professionals and construction contractors. The 2017 ICUEE featured nearly 1.24 million net square feet of exhibits, 1,000-plus exhibitors and nearly 18,000 registered attendees.
